The service

We follow the advisories, you know what to do.

SBCs, phones, headsets and meeting room devices get security updates regularly. But who keeps track of which ones apply to your organisation? IT looks at Windows and the firewall, and telephony often falls in between.

With Cloud Avenue Security-opvolging, we follow the security advisories and CVEs of the vendors in your environment every month. You hear what affects you, how serious it is and what needs to happen.

What you get

Six parts, one point of contact.

  • BaselineAn overview of your SBCs, phones, headsets, meeting room devices and platforms. For each item the version, the vendor, who manages it and how long it is supported.
  • Monthly radarWe compare new advisories and CVEs with that overview. You get a short report: what affects you, how serious it is and what needs to happen.
  • Alert on critical flawsIs a critical flaw being actively exploited, for example on CISA’s KEV list? Then you hear about it the same week.
  • Coordinating the workWe agree the update with the vendor or your IT partner, and then check that it has been applied.
  • Lifecycle checkOnce a year: which devices are reaching end of support, and what to replace when.
  • One point of contactQuestions about an advisory or an update? You call us, not five vendors.
How it works

First an overview, then up to date every month.

Start

Baseline

We map your environment: what is there, which version it runs and who manages it. Easy to combine with the Cost check, which uses the same inventory.

Security radar

A short report with the advisories that apply to you, ordered by severity, with for each item what needs to happen and who picks it up.

Alert and follow-up

For a critical flaw you hear about it the same week. We agree the update and check that it has been done, including on your SBC.

What we don’t do

We don’t patch ourselves. We make sure it happens.

The updates themselves are applied by the vendor or your own IT partner. We keep the overview, get the right people working on it and check the result.

That way responsibility stays where it belongs, and you always know where you stand.

Why now

Telephony is part of your security.

Since 15 August 2026, the Dutch Cybersecurity Act (Cyberbeveiligingswet), the Dutch implementation of NIS2, has been in force. Organisations that fall under it must manage their risks, including those at their suppliers. Your telephony and meeting room devices are part of that.

Not covered by the act? An SBC without updates is still an open door to your telephony.
