How do Zoom Phone licences work?

A licence plus a calling plan.
Zoom Phone has two parts. The licence gives you the phone system in the cloud. A calling plan adds a phone number and calling minutes.
You buy them separately or together, and if you already use Zoom Workplace it can also come as a bundle.

The per-user licence for calling in the Zoom app and on a desk phone, with transfer, voicemail and call queues.
Zoom Phone or Teams Phone? →Metered or unlimited
A calling plan adds a number and calling minutes. You choose metered or unlimited within a region. Without a calling plan, you pay per minute.

More about Unified Communications →Zoom numbers, or your own provider’s.
Zoom provides numbers in the Netherlands itself. You can port existing numbers or request new ones. For a geographic number you need an address in that area.
Rather stay with your own provider? With Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC) you connect a provider to Zoom Phone.
